Looking for Live-In Household Manager and Family Cook
Family with a busy lifestyle is looking for a hands on Domestic Couple to oversee and maintain household operations and maintenance of their Miami home and meals preparation for family. Occasional traveling to their other properties.
Candidates for this position should be neat, meticulous, detailed oriented, self directed with outstanding follow through.
HOUSEHOLD MANAGER:
- Experienced and detailed oriented
- Manage household operations and maintenance
- Manage, schedule and supervise vendors
- Gardening, pool cleaning and maintenance
- Maintain cars washed, fueled up and ready
- Run household errands
- Organize and maintain household inventory of supplies
- Take care of home maintenance list
- Light housekeeping
- Feed the dogs, walk them, bathe them
- Drive dogs to vet’s appointments
- Take care of other pets (finches and fish)
- Drive for the family. Take and pick up kids from school if needed
- Organize the family travels to their other properties (Bahamas, North Carolina) and their travels in their plane and boat.
- Assistance with special projects, remodeling, renovations
- Ability to safely lift 50 lbs with ability to bend, stoop, kneel and access low surfaces.
FAMILY COOK:
- Menu planning (self-directed or with family member)
- Prepare daily meals and snacks
- Schedule, plan and prepare meals for parties at home and/or other family properties as needed
- Experienced in cooking health conscious meals - Maintain a well-stocked pantry and fridge
- Grocery shopping
- Organize and plan school lunches for kids. Same with snacks. - Keep a meticulous kitchen
- Serve and clear
COUPLE MUST HAVE:
- Great attitude, friendly and happy to do what needs to be done with a smile and to keep the working environment a happy place for everybody.
- Excellent skills for team work to get along with the family’s other staff and caretakers from their other properties.
- Excited by the opportunity to help the family enjoy a busy lifestyle.
- Willing and able to travel to family’s other properties in Bahamas and North Carolina if needed.
- Legal documentation to be able to travel internationally
- Impeccable driving records
- Non-smokers
- Non-drinkers
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum 3 years of prior relevant job experience.
- Professional appearance and demeanor in all interactions with family, guests, staff and vendors
- Keep privacy and do not discuss family’s business outside the home
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Based on experience and skill-set
