Campground Host for a Couple - Hardy Dam - Hardy Dam in Newaygo, MI

We are looking for a couple to serve as Campground Host in either of our two (2) parks in Newaygo County, on the Muskegon River. 

Hardy Dam is an earth-filled embankment and Power Plant which backs up these waters.  The river encompasses 4,000 acres of water with over 50 miles of shoreline.  All of the shoreline is owned by Consumers Energy Co, which ensures the river to be free of homes and industry.  Boating, Swimming, Hiking, Biking, Fishing, and Camping are the areas focus.  Our Campground Hosts would be required to work 7 nights in a two week period, plus Holiday weekends.  Hours may vary. 

Duties to include welcoming campers/guests, assist in locating campers lots, make periodic surveys of the park to insure the rules are being adhered to, assist Office Personnel when necessary, sell firewood and permits when necessary, and light groundskeeping/bathroom spruce up.  Note:  We maintain a full staff of maintainence and cleaning personnel. 

The Parks are open from May 1st to October 15th each year.  Compensation would include free lot rent with water and electric.  A minimal wage would be negotiated.
